ECOE AGM on June 6 – put it in your diary

Thursday 6th June 18.30
The Meeting Room, Stephens Scown LLP, Curzon House, Southernhay, Exeter,

(See on Google Maps)

We invite all our members and supporters to join us on June 6 for the Exeter Community Energy (ECOE) Annual General Meeting at Stephens Scown at 6:30pm. We’ll be reviewing the year’s activities, and showing how our solar PV installations are supporting our efforts to help the community in Exeter and Devon. You can view the agenda here. We have now also uploaded our accounts and annual report.

We’ll obviously be discussing our biggest success, Healthy Homes for Wellbeing, which has improved the quality of life for over 500 householders who we’ve visited. The scheme has had an amazing run of successful grant applications, sustaining five self-employed consultants. We’re providing a path for its two newest recruits  to restart paid work, reflecting another way in which ECOE is making a real difference to people’s lives.

But there are many activities keeping us busy, including taking part in our ‘smart’ energy initiative OpenLV, managing our existing generation sites and working to develop new potential ones. And our community fund has helped create new connections between community organisations. These groups are doing good entirely independently from the way ECOE distributes profit from our solar PV installations and reduces carbon emissions.

We’ll be discussing all this and more in detail on June 6th – Please put it in your diary and join us! If you’re coming please email and notify david@ecoe.org.uk.
