Home Energy Advisor(s) required for Exeter and surroundings NOW FILLED

Our Healthy Homes for Wellbeing project launched in Autumn 2017 is growing fast. This project aims to provide energy and financial support for the vulnerable and fuel poor in our community. We hold drop-in energy advice clinics in community centres, give talks to community groups, train frontline workers so they can spot when to make referrals to Healthy Homes and we provide the in depth LEAP home visit where a full energy assessment is completed to provide a tailor made package of support to help cut costs and help make homes warmer.

More info here. You can also read our recent article with first season results.

We are looking for additional Home Energy Advisors to work in and around Exeter. The skills that are needed include:

  • IT literate and own laptop or ipad
  • Have own vehicle/access to vehicle for carrying out visits
  • Have previous experience of working with the public
  • Ideally HEAs will already be qualified to level 3 City & Guilds in Energy Awareness in the Home and/or be a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor. However full training will be provided, therefore a willingness to study and take a few exams would be required.

This is a paid self-employed part-time role.

Our HEA’s play an important role in the overall aims and objectives of ECOE. They’ll be working as part of an innovative team,  directly helping to improve the lives of those living in our local community, as well as promoting a low-carbon life style.

If you or anyone you know would like to know more about these opportunities, please contact
