Exeter Community Energy is looking for new people to join its award-winning team

Exeter Community Energy is looking for people to join our team. We have won three awards in two years. but now we’re thinking even bigger! Therefore, we have exciting plans to expand how we use renewable energy, energy efficiency and fuel poverty projects to improve our community. Can you help us?

We are especially looking for people with skills or experience in the following areas:

Contractors (paid):

Directors and volunteers (unpaid):

  • Legal
  • Finance
  • Human resources
  • Equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • Measuring social impact
  • Graphic design
  • Community energy champions

The director and volunteer roles best suits people who have a strong interest in helping the environment and/or local community and would therefore be motivated to spend their spare time on this. For directors we are ideally looking for people able to commit a significant amount of time, upwards of ten hours per month, but welcome all enquiries. Directors must be ECOE shareholders, which will require a minimum £50 investment. Otherwise, volunteers can help without this. This is your chance to do something real to address the climate emergency!

Do you know anyone with the skills and available time to fill these important roles? Or would you like further information about role responsibilities? If so, please contact Andy Extance, marketing director, in the first instance on andy@ecoe.org.uk or on 07788 582024.
