Thank you to everyone who took part in Pull the Plug on 12 October. We had some great photos of people taking the zero electricity challenge, including lots of our local politicians out and about in town asking shops to unplug anything they could do without.
We managed to get over 300 plugs pulled during the day – perhaps our biggest achievement was persuading Marks and Spencer to unplug a room full of computers and printers in the office above their High Street store.
Everyone who took part was really keen to get involved and make it bigger and better next year, reaching more people and pulling more plugs.
